Instructions:

For the Toffifee cherry tart, make a sponge mixture from the ingredients – up to and including the almonds. Bake at approx. 175 °C. Then allow the dough to cool. Cut the cooled cake in two.

Spread any jam on the first layer and place the second layer on top. Spread half of the whipped cream on it, spread sour cherries on top and place the third cake layer on top.

Spread the remaining whipped cream over the cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired, pipe on whipped cream roses and garnish with Toffifee.

Chill the Toffifee cherry tart once again before cutting.

Preparation Tip:

Sprinkle the Toffifee Cherry Cake with brittle or almond flakes instead of chocolate chips.
