For the Swiss pasta salad, cook the pasta in hot salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Mix a dressing of oil, vinegar and mixed herbs, season with pepper and salt.

Chop the carrots into pieces. Chop the cheese and ham into cubes. Drain the mushrooms. Peel the carrots and cut them into small cubes. Blanch the peas and carrots.
