First, boil the potatoes, peel and strain.
Add egg, salt, flour and butter and quickly mix into a dough. Form finger-thick rolls from the dough and cut them into pieces, each 3 cm long.
Form into noodles, boil in salted water, drain, rinse and mix with melted butter, ground poppy seeds and sugar.
Arrange the poppy seed noodles and serve.
