Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

Instructions:

For the peanut-maple syrup slices, mix the flour with baking powder. Knead sugar, butter, maple syrup, peanut butter and egg yolk with flour to a dough, chill.

After an hour, knead dough again, roll out and cut out slices. Place the discs on a baking tray lined with baking paper, bake at 180 degrees top/bottom heat for about 7 minutes.

While the cookies are cooling, mix 6 tablespoons of nuts (or coconut) and the 3 tablespoons of maple syrup into a spreadable mixture and glue 2 cookies together with it.

Roll the edges of the cookies in nuts (or coconut). Make a soft glaze with 200 g powdered sugar and 2-4 tablespoons maple syrup and decorate the peanut-maple syrup slices with it.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, you can also frost the peanut-maple syrup slices with chocolate icing or punch icing.
