For the gratinated tomatoes, scald the tomatoes hot and peel them, remove the seeds and cut the rest into small cubes.
Put the cubes in a bowl, add salt and pepper and mix with paprika powder. Add the tomato paste and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish (or into 2 small ramekins). sprinkle generously with cheese and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees until the cheese takes color.
