For the mineral water cake, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, oil and mineral water until foamy. Carefully fold in the nuts. Sift baking powder and flour and fold in gradually.

Spread the mixture on a greased and floured baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes at 170 °C (the mixture is rather liquid due to the water).

Spread the cooled mass with jam and glaze with chocolate icing.
