Instructions:

Prepare the dough for the irresistible curd lattice cake. Separate the 5 eggs. Cream the yolks, oil and water with the sugar.

Mix flour and baking powder and fold in. Fold in the beaten egg whites as well. Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet.

Separate the eggs for the cream. Mix yolks, sugar, curd and vanilla sugar. Beat the egg whites and fold in.

Fill the cream into a piping bag and pipe it onto the dough in a grid pattern.

Preheat oven to 180 °C, bake the curd lattice cake for approx. 40 minutes.

Serve the curd lattice cake with whipped cream.
