For gratinated gyros, first fry the meat in portions in a little oil. Take out again and deglaze the frying residue with the brandy.

Grate the cheese. Wash peppers, remove seeds and cut into strips. Carefully clean the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices.

Sauté mushrooms and peppers in the frying residue. Add tomato paste. Stir in sour cream. Bring to a boil and add the meat back in. Pour everything into a baking dish. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top. Bake at 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 15 minutes.

Portion the gratinated gyros and serve.
