A simple but delicious cake recipe:
(*) Graeubi, Grammeln: melted out fat cubes.
Grate sugar, flour, salt, grams and butter. Add the raisins and knead quickly with the milk to form a smooth dough. Dust well with flour and rest for 1/2 hour with the lid closed.
Roll out on the baking sheet 5 mm thick, cut into rhombs, but do not move the pieces from each other. Brush with egg yolk and bake at 220 degrees in about 20 minutes.
