Instructions:

Cut the meat into pieces.

Heat the oil in a tajine and fry the meat briefly.

Mix paprika powder, saffron, ginger powder and a little salt. Sprinkle half of this mixture over the meat.

Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds, cut them into pieces and put them over the meat. Sprinkle the rest of the spice mixture on top. Cover and steam for 10 minutes until tender.

Clean the green beans and cut them into 4 cm long pieces. Pour over the tomatoes and add a little salt.

Deglaze with water and simmer over low heat until the flesh can be easily broken up with your fingers. Add more water if necessary.

Pour the juice of one lemon over the green beans and cook the sauce until it is creamy.

Serve the tajine hot.

Preparation Tip:

Instead of beef, you can use lamb.
