Instructions:

For the Flower Power poppy seed cake, separate eggs into yolks and clear, mix poppy seeds with almonds and chocolate.

Cream butter with powdered sugar, pinch of salt, vanilla sugar, orange + lemon zest. Gradually mix in yolks and stir until the mixture is well fluffy.

Beat egg whites with raw cane sugar until creamy and fold into butter mixture alternately with poppy seed-almond-chocolate mixture.

Pour the mixture into a greased, floured springform pan, bake at 160° C for approx. 50 min. When cool, remove from the pan and turn out onto a plate.

Puree the fruit spread, press it through a sieve, warm it up and spread it thinly on the top and all around the cake.

For the glaze, whisk together ingredients until smooth and thick. Mix in flower power spice blossoms and glaze the cake.
