For crispy chickpeas, first drain the chickpeas, rinse with cold water and dry well.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix the chickpeas with salt, pepper and olive oil and spread on the baking sheet. Place in the oven for about 40-45 minutes. Shake crispy chickpeas in between every now and then.
Preparation Tip:
Crispy chickpeas can also be enhanced with other spices (e.g. paprika powder, pommes spice, oriental or Mediterranean spices) or fresh, chopped herbs.
