Try this delicious cake recipe:

(*) Cake springform pan of 24 cm ø Mix flour, sugar (1), the melted butter, the baking powder, half of the amaretto (liqueur) and egg (1) until a uniform dough. Cover and let cool for ten minutes.

Grease the cake springform pan and line with the dough. Spread the pastry with the jam.

Crumble the amaretto macaroons and soak in the remaining liqueur. Drain and spread evenly on the jam layer.

Beat the almonds, sugar (2) and eggs (2) until creamy. Cover the macaroon layer evenly with it. Bake for one hour in a heated oven at 160 °C.

Cool before serving.
